Accessibility

Last Updated: June 2026

Protocol is built for people who want to take real ownership of their health. That includes people who use assistive technology, and we want the site to work for you too.

Our goal

We're working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It's the standard most sites use to stay usable for people with vision, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities. This isn't a one-time project for us. We test our pages as we build them, both with automated tools and by hand with a keyboard and screen reader, and we fix what we find.

Where we know we fall short

Some parts of the site run on outside services: payments, scheduling, and live chat. We don't fully control how accessible those are, though we pick vendors with care and push them when something's wrong. If one of them gets in your way, tell us and we'll help you finish what you were doing another way.

Tell us if something isn't working

If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, a page you can't navigate or a form you can't complete, we want to hear about it, and we'll make it right.

We aim to reply within two business days. If you need something from the site in a different format, or you'd like a hand getting through a task, we'll do that too.
